Taplink is a page builder for everyone
Taplink is popular for a reason: it's cheap, it has a free plan, and it can build almost anything. Shops, salons, tutors, restaurants and coaches all use it. Its paid plans add block after block: images and video, price lists, internal pages, countdown timers, custom HTML, application forms, payments, a CRM and a custom domain.
That flexibility is also the catch. A blank toolbox means you're the designer, and most coaches don't have the time to work out what a page that converts followers into clients should look like.
FittBio is a page shaped for coaching
FittBio starts with the layout a coach needs and lets you fill it in:
- Featured links as large image tiles for the one or two things you most want people to do, like book a consultation or grab your freebie.
- A Loom intro video and transformation gallery, so people get to know you and see client results first.
- Lead forms that work like Typeform, one question at a time, with every enquiry landing in your dashboard.
- Free downloads gated by email, sent to the visitor automatically, with a separate marketing opt-in. Need ideas? See lead magnet ideas for fitness coaches.
- Analytics on profile views and which links get clicked most.
How the pricing really works
Taplink's headline prices are low, but read the small print. Paid plans are bought in blocks of 3, 6 or 12 months, with 30% off for 6 months and 50% off for 12. When we checked (prices shown in GBP to a UK visitor), Pro was £3/mo on the 12-month plan (£36 up front, full rate £6/mo) and Business was £6/mo on the 12-month plan (£72 up front, full rate £12/mo). Forms and payments sit on Business; click analytics need at least Pro.
FittBio has one monthly plan. Build the whole page free with no card, then it's $7.99/mo when you publish, and you can cancel any time from Settings. There's no free plan or free trial. On price alone, a year of Taplink paid up front can work out cheaper; you're paying FittBio for fit, focus and the freedom to leave.
What FittBio doesn't do
No free plan, no custom domain, no CRM, no automated emails and no booking calendar. If you need those on a tight budget, Taplink is worth a look.
The verdict
Taplink suits anyone who wants a cheap, flexible page and doesn't mind building it themselves or paying up front. FittBio suits coaches who want a page designed to win clients, on a simple monthly plan. Writing your bio too? Try the free Instagram bio generator.
